Theater Undreground is a non-profit theater company that intends to flip the perception of live theater in McHenry County by bringing bold, original and underperformed plays to the stage. Theater Undreground seeks to mentor both local and fresh: writers, directors, actors, musicians and other theatrical talents; while providing quality, inexpensive and unique theater experiences for the community. Theater Undreground aims to lead by example and inspire the community; from the encouragement of local business to the participation in and donations to local charitable organizations.
